Kindle, Nook or Book?

A Picture of a eBook

I love the feel of a real book in my hand but in December I opted for a Kindle from Amazon.  Santa was nice enough to leave me one under the tree and I’ve been obsessed ever since.

There are so many free books out there available for download, you can catch up on all the titles you’ve always wanted to read.

I also love the idea of getting a sample of the book before I buy it.  Did I mention that downloading a book takes minutes?  It beats waiting for UPS to deliver that must-read that for some reason has been delayed once again.

With Kindle you can also download games, dictionaries and crossword puzzles, to name a few.  I love EVERY WORD and the NY Times Crosswords (but they’re difficult sometimes).  I’m not such a fan of SHUFFLED ROW – I hate being “timed”.

Here are some great resources for Kindle books:

Although I feel like a book traitor, I think digital e books are the wave of the future.  Why go to the college bookstore and pay over-inflated prices for something you can download in seconds and carry (your entire library – I might add) it in your purse or backpack?

In any case, I  think that they have something with the KINDLE.  I like it.  Do you?
